Academic Lectures Organised by The Maxwell Society The Maxwell Society Lectures are a series of lectures on topical scientific issues. They are aimed at a general audience and all are welcome to attend, especially those from the other London universities. The lectures are held weekly at 2pm on Mondays in room K2.31. There has been a slight change in this timetable due to bad weather on the 2nd of February. Professor Mavromatos will now give his lecture in the Autumn Term 2009. Alternative Medicine on Trial Peter Hylands (King’s College London): Traditional Chinese Medicine Peter Naish (Open University): Hypnosis - Trickery or Therapy? (including a demonstration) There will also be presentations on Acupuncture, Spiritual Healing and Colour/Light Medicine (TBC).
